The first store of the Maag clothing brand in the former premises of Zara opened in Moscow. The store is located at the intersection of Neglinnaya Street and Kuznetsky Most, follows from the information on the company’s website.
The Inditex holding, which owns Zara, as well as Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho and others, stopped working in Russia in the spring of 2022 due to the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. Company assets redeemed Fashion and More Management DMCC, a company with the same name is registered in the free zone of the United Arab Emirates. On March 30, the authorities approved a deal to sell the Russian business to Inditex.
In Russia, former Inditex stores will open under new names: Maag, Dub, Ecru, Vilet. In mid-April, new store owners reportedthat Pull & Bear stores under the new Dub brand should open within a few weeks.
