“The decision to open the Russian market for the supply of food eggs from Azerbaijan was made in November this year based on the results of negotiations between the head of Rosselkhoznadzor Sergei Dankvert and the chairman of the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan Goshgar Takhmazli,” the message states.
According to the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, in the next 2–3 weeks expected supply of eggs from Turkey. On December 18, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) zeroed out duties on imports of chicken eggs to Russia from January 1 to June 30, 2024. The benefit will apply to the supply of 1.2 billion eggs and will allow for the supply of products, including from Iran.
