The 28th Critics Choice Movie Awards took place in Los Angeles. Everything Everywhere, Directed by Daniel Scheinert and Dan Kwan, won Best Picture. The film was also awarded for directing, original screenplay and editing.

- Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series – Jeremy Allen White (Bear)
- Best mini-series – “Retired”;
- Best Foreign Film: RRR: Revolution Roars Nearby (India);
- Best Cast: Knives Out: The Glass Onion
The Critics Choice Awards are presented by the Association of Television, Radio and Online Film Critics. The association includes about 250 people, it is considered the largest in North America.
