Exactly at 12:00 the Ninth Extraordinary Congress of the STD opened.
Delegates from across the country will elect a new chairman. Alexander Kalyagin was greeted with applause. And most of those present in the hall of the Center on Strastnoy stood up.
– There are 211 delegates, not all of them were able to come, but there is a quorum. – said Alexander Kalyagin. And he opened the work of the forum, which may go down in the history of the oldest theater organization as fateful in its decisions.
Among the delegates are Vladimir Mashkov, Valery Gergiev, two Alexanders – Domogarov and Lazarev, Evgeny Gerasimov, Vladimir Urin, who left the Bolshoi Theater, as well as representatives of all regions.
