The wholesale price of gasoline AI-95 exceeded 71,000 rubles per ton, which became a new historical maximum, follows from the trading data on the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange (SPIMEX) on August 24.
The price of gasoline AI-95 increased by 1.1% to 71,746 rubles during the day. The previous maximum was recorded on August 23 – 70,959 rubles/t.
At the same time, the cost of a ton of AI-92 gasoline per day decreased by 0.42% to 62,432 rubles, summer diesel fuel – by 0.56% to 66,026 rubles.
This summer, wholesale prices for gasoline in Russia broke records several times. In particular, on June 22, the price of AI-92 gasoline on the stock exchange reached a historical maximum of 58,548 rubles per ton, on August 17 – at 62,832 rubles. AI-95 price updated maximum on June 15, reaching 67,385 rubles / t. Later, prices began to decline.
At the same time, retail fuel prices in Russia have changed insignificantly since the beginning of the year, on average they increased by 6.6%. According to Rosstat, as of August 21, the average price for gasoline AI-92 was 50.23 rubles/l, AI-95 – 54.85 rubles/l, and the cost of diesel has increased by 2.7% since the beginning of the year to 60, 03 rub./l.
