According to the results bidding at the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (SPIMEX) today, August 31, the cost of AI-95 gasoline in the European part of Russia rose by 0.82%, amounting to 74.3 thousand rubles. per ton. The exchange price of AI-92 gasoline rose by 0.59% to 63.9 thousand rubles. per ton, the cost of jet fuel – by 0.18%, up to 68.9 thousand rubles. The price of summer diesel fuel decreased by 0.08% to 67.1 thousand rubles. per ton, heating oil – by 0.18%, up to 33.8 thousand rubles. per ton. The price of liquefied hydrocarbon gases (LHG) amounted to 29.4 thousand rubles. per ton (+0.82%).
According to the Federal State Statistics Service, compared to the beginning of the year, gasoline prices increased by 7.1% as of August 28 (inflation over this period was 3.65%). According to the results of trading on the SPIMEX on that day, the cost of AI-95 amounted to 72.8 thousand rubles. per ton (+0.5%), AI-92 – 63.3 thousand rubles. per ton (+ 0.31%), summer diesel fuel – 66.8 thousand rubles. per ton (+0.38%).
The wholesale price of gasoline at the SPIMEX last month updated its historical highs several times. On August 2, the government obliged oil companies to increase sales of class 5 fuel on the stock exchange from 12% to 13% of gasoline production, and diesel from 8.5% to 9.5%.
