Euro, US dollar and yuan show growth by Moscow Exchange by the end of the trading session today, August 2. The euro rose to 103 rubles. for the first time since March 28, 2022, the dollar for the first time since the same date exceeds 94 rubles, and the yuan is trading above 13 rubles. for the first time since April 14, 2022.
As of 18:50 Moscow time, the euro exchange rate is 102.89 rubles. (+1.71 rubles compared to the close of yesterday’s trading), the dollar exchange rate – 94.07 rubles. (+1.7 rubles), the yuan exchange rate is 13.04 rubles. (+0.2 rub.).
The Moscow Exchange Index by the end of trading (18:54 Moscow time) amounted to 3106.46 points. Since the start of trading, the indicator has increased by 9.74 points. The growth leaders of the current trading day were Rusagro (+2.93% from the previous close), Tatneft (+1.88%) and Surgutneftegaz (+1.53%).

At the end of last week, the Moscow Exchange index exceeded 3,000 points for the first time since the start of the military operation in Ukraine. Yesterday, August 1, a new record was set – the index exceeded 3100 points for the first time since February 22, 2022. Experts attributed this to the devaluation of the ruble, the rise in oil prices, the dividend policy of companies and the external background. They predict that by the end of the year the index could reach 3500 points.
