The dollar exchange rate at the opening of trading on the Moscow Exchange fell below 94 rubles. As of 7:37 a.m., the dollar is trading at 93.9 rubles/$ (-0.79%). The euro fell by 0.83% to 102.3 rubles/€. Yuan fell by 0.36% to 12.8 rubles.

On August 16, at the opening of trading on the Moscow Exchange, the dollar fluctuated around 97 rubles / $, the euro traded at 106 rubles / €, the yuan – 13.3 rubles. This week, the dollar exceeded 101 rubles, the euro – 110 rubles.
On August 14, after the announcement by the Bank of Russia of a meeting on the key rate, the dollar began to fall, but returned to growth on August 15 after the decision raise rate immediately by 3.5 percentage points, up to 12%. The regulator admitted that it could once again raise the rate if pro-inflationary risks intensify.
