After the Central Bank’s decision to increase the key rate to 15% per annum, the dollar exchange rate during trading on the Moscow Exchange fell below 93 rubles, the euro exchange rate fell below 98 rubles. This follows from data Moscow Exchange trading.
The dollar exchange rate for “tomorrow” settlements at 2 p.m. fell by 1.3 rubles, to 92.66 rubles, the euro – by 1.66 rubles, to 97.94 rubles, the yuan – by 11 kopecks, to 12 .67 rub.
Earlier today, October 27, the Central Bank decided to raise the key rate from 13% by 200 bps to 15%, mainly due to inflationary pressures, which turned out to be higher than expected. This was the fourth increase in the key rate in a row.
