The dollar fell below 79 rubles – Kommersant

The dollar exchange rate on the Moscow Exchange fell below 79 rubles. for the first time since April 4th. According to the data at 11:34 Moscow time, it cost 78.9 rubles, then it increased slightly – up to 79.02 rubles. The euro exchange rate is reduced by 0.43%, to 87.3 rubles. The yuan fell by 0.69%, to 11.4 rubles.
The Moscow Exchange Index is down 0.9% to 2557.27 points. The RTS dollar index is holding at the level of 1019.7 points.

At the end of last week, following the results of trading on the Moscow Exchange, the dollar and euro rates fell by more than 1 ruble, to the lowest since the beginning of the month. This was facilitated by the sale of foreign exchange earnings by exporters, as well as the closing of long positions in foreign currency.
