The dollar exchange rate on the Mosbirzhe fell to 76.98 rubles/$ for the first time since March. By 9:57 Moscow time, it was trading at the rate of 77.3025 rubles/$, having lost 75 kopecks. from the start of trading.
The euro is trading at the rate of 85.4975 rubles/€, having lost 74 kopecks since the opening of morning trading. The yuan exchange rate was 11.16 rubles/yuan, down 11 kopecks.
At the end of last week, the dollar and euro rates fell by more than 1 ruble, to their lowest levels since the beginning of April. This happened against the backdrop of the sale of foreign exchange earnings by exporters, as well as the closing of long positions in foreign currency.
