The dollar exchange rate reached 97 rubles / $, updating the minimum of March 2022 - Kommersant

The dollar exchange rate in trading on the Moscow Exchange rose above 97 rubles / $, updating the minimum of March 2022. By 17:36, the dollar is trading at the rate of 97.2952 rubles/$, having risen in price by 2.12% since the opening of trading. The euro exchange rate reached 106.23 rubles/€, having risen in price by 0.96% since the opening of trading, the yuan – 13.42 rubles/yuan, having added 1.33% from the opening.

In the first week of August, the dollar exchange rate on the exchange for the first time since March 2022 exceeded 96 rubles / $, the euro exchange rate – above 106 rubles / €. The dynamics is due to the shortage of foreign exchange supply against the backdrop of a reduction in exports, as well as seasonally high demand for it.
