Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko reported that the government has updated the strategy for the development of agro-industrial and fisheries until 2030. According to her, about 900 billion rubles will be required to support the stated goals. annually.
According to Ms. Abramchenko, the government plans to:
- provide preferential loans for projects in the field of breeding and genetics at a rate of 1% to 5%;
- increase the area for agricultural production by 5 million hectares by 2024, up to 13 million hectares by 2030;
- increase agricultural exports to more than $47 billion by 2030;
- build more than 40 ships for transporting agricultural products;
- provide grants for the purchase of materials, machinery and equipment for farmers;
- to form an infrastructure for a comfortable life in the villages.
According to her, the government expects that thanks to this, the growth of agricultural production by 2030 will grow by 29.7%. “Our goal is to increase the export of agricultural products to more than $47 billion by 2030, that is, more than one and a half times,” Victoria Abramchenko said at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin (quoted by TASS).
