Until 2017, Otkritie Holding was one of the largest Russian financial groups. However, in August of the same year, the Central Bank began the procedure for reorganizing its main asset, the Otkritie FC Bank. After this, Trust Bank also came under the control of the Bank of Russia; its reorganization was carried out by FC Otkritie.
