Trading structure of the Russian company LUKOIL (MOEX: LKOH) Litasco SA has not received offers for the sale of the Bulgarian oil refinery (refinery) in Burgas. The press service reported this Litasco on the company website.
“The main shareholder of LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas LITASCO SA has not received any offers to sell the oil refinery. Accordingly, LITASCO SA is currently not conducting any negotiations on this issue,” the material says.
The press service added that LITASCO SA did not appoint any organization to search for potential buyers or conduct negotiations on this issue on its behalf.
In August 2023, the Bulgarian Parliament will terminated an agreement with LUKOIL to lease a refinery in Burgas due to sanctions imposed on Russia. The Rosenets terminal was transferred under state control on September 4. The Bulgarian authorities do not plan to pay compensation to LUKOIL due to the termination of the contract.
