The lowest prices for performances and ballets “The Nutcracker” were recorded in Chelyabinsk, Kazan and St. Petersburg. But taking into account accommodation, the leaders in the ranking were Chelyabinsk, Perm and Samara. The “Nutcracker Index” was calculated by specialists from the Yandex Travel and Yandex Poster services.

Leaders for the lowest cost of tickets and accommodation (two nights):

  • Chelyabinsk — 220 rub. ticket, 4 thousand rubles. accommodation;
  • Perm — 600 rub. ticket, 4 thousand rubles. accommodation;
  • Samara – 600 rub. ticket, 4 thousand rubles. accommodation;
  • Omsk – 400 rub. ticket, 5 thousand rubles. accommodation;
  • Ekaterinburg – 400 rubles. ticket, 5 thousand rubles. accommodation;
  • Krasnoyarsk — 600 rub. ticket, 5 thousand rubles. accommodation;
  • Krasnodar – 800 rub. ticket, 5 thousand rubles. accommodation;
  • Kazan – 250 rub. ticket, 6 thousand rubles. accommodation;
  • St. Petersburg – 400 rub. ticket, 6 thousand rubles. accommodation;
  • Novosibirsk — 700 rub. ticket, 6 thousand rubles. accommodation.

The most expensive tickets, besides Moscow, are in St. Petersburg (prices reach 25 thousand rubles at the Mikhailovsky Theater) and Perm (up to 10 thousand rubles at the P. I. Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theater). The cheapest places to stay are in hotels in Chelyabinsk, Perm and Samara (an average of 4 thousand for two nights). In second place are Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar.

Ticket sales for the ballet “The Nutcracker” at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow ended on November 26. There was great demand in the capital: people stood in queues at night for tickets. As Kommersant FM found out, there was also increased demand in the Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod theaters.
