Such a proposal included in the Main directions of development of information security of the credit and financial sphere approved by the regulator for the next three years.
“Submitting fraud reports through the Gosuslugi portal will allow you to quickly report fraudsters to law enforcement agencies, and banks will be able to quickly take into account such information in their anti-fraud systems,” the Central Bank notes.
The Bank of Russia noted that when preparing the proposal, the proposals received after its public discussion with financial institutions were taken into account.
In addition, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation is going to improve the mechanism for returning money stolen by fraudsters to bank customers in the near future. Specific measures in this direction have not yet been developed.
Previously, it was submitted to the State Duma for consideration bill, obliging creditors to notify citizens through the State Services portal that a loan or loan agreement has been drawn up in their name. However, the Central Bank did not support this document.
