The Russian government has extended the grace period for the payment of insurance premiums for a number of companies, informed Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at an operational meeting with Deputy Prime Ministers.

Now insurance payments for the II quarter of 2022 can be paid until May 28, 2024. We are talking about enterprises in the fields of healthcare, science, culture, tourism, sports, food production, textiles, etc. In total, this will affect 70 types of activities, Mishustin emphasized . For those employed in these sectors of the economy, IP payments have been postponed to May 1 of the next year.
For enterprises of another 30 types of activities, the deferral is also extended for the third quarter of 2022. Organizations involved in the production of medicines, working in agriculture, in construction, in telecommunications, will also be able to postpone the payment of insurance payments until May 28, 2024.
“This decision will enable businesses to continue using the freed up resources for current expenses, primarily salaries for employees, development and modernization of production, restructuring of logistics,” Mishustin added.
