Board of Directors of Rostelecom (MOEX: RTKM) recommended paying dividends for 2022 in the amount of 5.4465 rubles. for each common and each preferred share. This was stated in a press release on website companies.
The total amount of dividends will be 19 billion rubles. The company’s board of directors set December 1 as the date on which persons entitled to receive dividends are determined.
The absentee annual general meeting of shareholders (AGM), as reported by the press service, will be held on November 20. Persons who are eligible to participate in the AGM will be determined as of October 28.
In March, Rostelecom President Mikhail Oseevsky said that the company has the opportunity to pay dividends in 2023, but the final decision will be made by the government. In August, the Ministry of Digital Development supported the payment of dividends for 2022 in an amount comparable to last year.
