The results of the first nine auctions for the sale of rights to harvest crab for 15 years as part of the second stage of the investment quota program have been published. As stated on the GIS “Trading” website, eight lots were drawn. With a starting price of 61 billion rubles, investors agreed to pay 66 billion rubles for them. The winners also undertake to build crab catchers. The auction for another lot did not take place, as the only participant withdrew his bid.

The winner of two auctions was the Vladkrab company, part of the Russian Crab group. The transaction amount will be 17.5 billion rubles. The company itself is the largest crab producer in Russia.
