Russian opera singer Anna Netrebko will again appear on the stage of the Berlin State Opera. On September 15, she will play in the production of Macbeth by Giuseppe Verdi. This was reported press office operas.

The theater explained the decision by the fact that the singer did not condemn the military operation in Ukraine. Anna Netrebko spoke out against the hostilities only a month later – on March 30th. She stated that she did not support any of the Russian political figures. In the same year, the singer sued the Metropolitan Opera and demanded $360,000 in compensation.
