The average price for Russian Urals oil from July 15 to August 14 was $70.33 per barrel, North Sea Dated oil – $84.23. About it informed Ministry of Finance of Russia.
From September 1, the export duty on oil in Russia will increase by $4.5, to $21.4 per ton from $16.9.
The duty on light oil products will be $6.4 per ton, on dark oil – $21.4, on commercial gasoline – $6.4, straight-run (naphtha) – $11.7. The duty on coke will be $1.3 per ton, on liquefied gas and pure LPG fractions – $0.0.
In August, Russia announced an extension of a voluntary cut in oil supplies by cutting exports by 300,000 bpd in September. Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, voluntarily cut production by 1 million b/d in July and August. On this background started to grow quotes not only for Brent oil, but also for Urals. The cost of Urals exceeded the ceiling set by the European Union and the G7 at $65 per barrel.
