Soviet and Russian actress Tatyana Konyukhova died at the age of 92. She played in the films “The Marriage of Balzaminov”, “Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears”, “May Night, or the Drowned Woman” and others.
“On April 2, at the age of 93, after a long illness, theater and film actress, holder of the Order of Honor, People’s Artist of Russia Tatyana Georgievna Konyukhova passed away,” reported press service Union of Cinematographers of Russia.
From 1956 to 1992, Tatyana Konyukhova worked at the Film Actor Studio Theatre. She also taught acting at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts. In 1991, she received the title of People’s Artist of the RSFSR. Tatyana Konyukhova ended her career in 2011, after which she performed a concert program – she read poems by Anna Akhmatova and Marina Tsvetaeva.
