Telegram sends a newsletter about a “gift” from hacked accounts

Telegram users receive messages from their contacts with an offer to get access to the Telegram Premium subscription supposedly given to them. Such messages, sent without the knowledge of the senders, were received by two Kommersant correspondents. Through mailing, accounts are hacked, claims Telegram-channel “News of Moscow”.
Telegram Premium subscription allows you to use additional features of the messenger. Its purchase directly through Telegram in Russia is difficult due to the withdrawal of international payment systems from the country. The @PremiumBot bot, which allows you to pay for a subscription from Russia, allows you to give subscriptions to other users, but only if the donor has his own subscription. Note that @PremiumBot is not owned by the Telegram administration; Mediazona (declared in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) connected the process of processing payments through bots popular in Russia with the structures of entrepreneur Dmitry Eremeev.
