PJSC Tatneft bought 100% of the shares of the Turkish fuel company Aytemiz Akaryakit. This was announced by the Dogan holding, which previously owned a 50% stake in Aytemiz Akaryakit. The message was published in the Turkish National Disclosure System, cited by Interfax.
The deal was closed today, April 26. The value of the agreement was $336 million. The price of Aytemiz Akaryakit’s assets was set taking into account the estimated amount of the company’s debt at the closing date of the transaction.
Earlier, Tatneft reported that its board of directors was going to discuss the opening of a representative office in Turkey. In April, the board of directors of Dogan Holding approved the sale of a 50% stake in Aytemiz Akaryakit to Tatneft for $160 million. Kommersant wrote that the rest of the stake was owned by the Aitemiz family.
As follows from the data on the Aytemiz Akaryakit AS website, the company has fuel storage facilities, storage and filling terminals with a capacity of 250 thousand cubic meters. m. Its gas stations are in 77 provinces of Turkey, they serve 5.5 million drivers per month.
