Kavkaz.RF will invest over 500 million rubles. in an investment project for the development of airport infrastructure. With the participation of the company, it is planned to build a new passenger terminal of Stavropol International Airport during 2023.
As Kommersant was told in the press service of Kavkaz.RF, it will be a two-story terminal with an area of almost 6 thousand square meters. m with a capacity of up to 200 passengers per hour. The terminal plans to serve about 300,000 passengers per year.
According to Andrey Yumshanov, General Director of Kavkaz.RF, quoted by the press service, the airport infrastructure is a priority for the company, since “it is not only the development of infrastructure, jobs and investments, it is also a direct way to increase the tourist accessibility and attractiveness of everything region”.
The total investment in the construction of the Stavropol airport terminal, according to the company, will amount to 2.7 billion rubles. Kavkaz.RF will finance 542 million rubles.
In the future, Kavkaz.RF is considering participation in similar projects in Mineralnye Vody and Nalchik.
In 2022, Kavkaz.RF also participated in the construction of the passenger terminal of Vladikavkaz International Airport with an area of 5.5 thousand square meters. m. The total investment in the project amounted to more than 2 billion rubles, the participation of “Kavkaz.RF” – about 280 million rubles. The new terminal has increased the airport’s capacity from 320 to 500 passengers per hour.
