Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the investments of foreign companies that left the capital remained in the city. He noted that the departure of foreign investors has created opportunities for domestic producers.
“There is probably nothing good in this, but, in the end, this is the choice of foreign investors. When they left our sites, their investments remained in the city,” Mr. Sobyanin told RIA Novosti.
Recall that after the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the Moscow authorities gained control over the Renault plant and announced the resumption of production of the Moskvich brand. By the end of the year, the car factory intends resume car assembly.
