Slovakia will suspend the import of grain and a number of other products from Ukraine. This was announced by the country’s Prime Minister Eduard Heger on Facebook (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned). According to him, today, April 17, a meeting of the working group on this topic will be held. He promised to report the results of the meeting later.
Previously similar solution accepted authorities of Hungary and Poland. European Commission criticized such measures. Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Mykola Solsky in Poland is negotiating to resume transit. Bulgaria also considers introduction of a ban on the supply of Ukrainian grain.
