The Made in Moscow local brand support program unites more than two thousand companies, their sales have grown by 26% since the launch of the program. This was told by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalya Sergunina.
“Thanks to various support tools, entrepreneurs increase their brand awareness, expand their audience and increase turnover. Sales of participants in the Made in Moscow program grew by a quarter by 26% by May,” she said. Her words are quoted by the press service of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow.
According to Sergunina, local brands that participate in the program can present their products on the Made in Moscow online platform, which already has over 12,000 products in 35 categories, including clothing, accessories and building materials. Visitors to the site can get acquainted with the assortment of the brand, and then go to its website to make a purchase. As Sergunina noted, the total number of unique visitors to the site exceeded 1.5 million people.
In addition, the products of the companies are also presented in special showcases of the largest marketplaces. The total amount of transactions from promotion through them exceeded 36 million rubles. In addition to online platforms, program participants can present their products at various offline events, including the Moscow Spring and Easter Gift festivals, as well as at the Moscow Fashion Week markets, etc.
As part of SPIEF Moscow has signed a cooperation agreement with the Kirov region and the Komi Republic to develop a similar project in the regions using already created technology.
The program to support local producers was launched in Moscow in September 2022. Both young companies and already well-known enterprises, including the Moskvich plant, take part in it.
