Sberbank raised the top rate by 2.1 percentage points to 27.9% on cash loans and refinancing (car loans, mortgages, credit cards, consumer loans and overdrafts) from 25 October. This is reported by the analytical agency Frank RG.
According to the agency, Home Credit Bank is also reconsidering the increase in rates for the product “Cash on collateral”.
Yesterday, October 24, several banks raised their rates on cash loans: PSB — by 2.1-8.6 percentage points, Transcapitalbank — by 2-6 percentage points. and Otkritie — by 7-10.2 p.p.
Since the beginning of October, banks, including those from the top 20, have been increasing mortgage rates. At Sberbank, the rate grew by 0.5 percentage points to 10.4% per annum, the reason for which was an increase in OFZ yields. Analysts believe that rates have risen because of the risks amid the mobilization and departure of citizens from Russia.
