Sberbank increased rates on new deposits – Kommersant

Sberbank (MOEX: SBER) increased rates on deposits in rubles to 16% per annum for some clients. The increase is valid for salary clients only when opening a deposit with “new” money and with a subscription. This was reported in a release in Telegram channel jar.
“From December 15, Sberbank increased rates on deposits in the “Best%” line, popular among our clients, as well as on the SberInvestments and Manage lines. The rate increase ranged from 0.8 to 1.68%, depending on the deposit,” the bank’s release says.
You can get this rate when you make a deposit for six months. The deposit must be opened with “new” money: it should not have been previously stored on other deposits in Sberbank in the previous three months. The depositor must have a subscription from SberPrime+ bank. In addition, he must be a payroll client.
In the third quarter Sberbank earned record net profit according to IFRS – 411.4 billion rubles. For January-September, the credit institution’s net profit amounted to 1.15 trillion rubles. Dividends for 2023 are planned at the level of 750 billion rubles.
