Sberbank earned a record profit under IFRS of 411.4 billion rubles in the third quarter

Sberbank (MOEX: SBER) in the third quarter of 2023 earned net profit under IFRS in the amount of 411.4 billion rubles. This was a record quarterly figure. The previous maximum was achieved in the second quarter of 2023 – RUB 380.3 billion. For January-September 2023, the credit institution earned a net profit of 1.15 trillion rubles.
According to reporting Sberbank, the lending institution’s mortgage portfolio in the third quarter grew by 10.1% and by 24.6% since the beginning of the year, exceeding RUB 9.4 trillion. At the end of the third quarter, the bank’s share in the mortgage market was 55.7%. Issues of mortgage loans in July-September reached 1.5 trillion rubles.
