Sberbank (MOEX: SBER) announced his intention to file a bankruptcy claim against businessman Alexey Blinovsky, who is the husband of blogger Elena Blinovskaya, who was arrested in a case of tax evasion and money laundering. What caused the bank’s decision to file a bankruptcy claim against Alexey Blinovsky and in which court this case will be heard is not specified.
Alexey Blinovsky is involved in a criminal case for complicity in tax evasion and money laundering. According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, his wife attracted him to participate in the crime.
The creator of the Marathon of Desires, Elena Blinovskaya, is accused of tax evasion in the amount of 918 million rubles, as well as money laundering on a particularly large scale. A criminal case was opened against her on two counts of illegal circulation of means of payment (part 2 of article 35, part 1 of article 187 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Elena Blinovskaya faces up to 16 years in prison. On January 22, Elena Blinovskaya, by court decision, was arrested for three months and placed in pre-trial detention center No. 6 “Pechatniki” in Moscow.
