The Sberbank broker is working to provide investors with access to foreign markets. Ruslan Vesterovsky, Senior Vice President, Head of the Wealth Management block at Sberbank, spoke about this.

In July 2022, SPB Exchange provided brokers with access to the Hong Kong market. By the beginning of 2023, the number of available Hong Kong securities on the exchange amounted to 115. At the same time, from March 21, the Central Bank suspended admission to organized trading on the SPB Exchange of new foreign securities available to unqualified investors if they are accounted for in a depository from an unfriendly country. “SPB Exchange” promised set up a secure chain of custody for Hong Kong papers by the end of the year.
