Russian Railways appoints new General Director for Passenger Complex - Kommersant

Russian Railways announced personnel changes. Pavel Burtsev, who previously held the position of First Deputy Head of the Passenger Transportation Department, has been appointed Head of the Sverdlovsk Railway (SvZhD). It is known about Mr. Burtsev that he began his career in 1992 as a process engineer at the locomotive depot Leningrad-Sortirovochny-Vitebsky of the October Railway. Since 2017, he has been working as First Deputy Head of the Passenger Transportation Department of Russian Railways.
