Lestate, a Russian distributor of sports brands, acquired the rights to rent an outlet for the American manufacturer of sportswear and footwear Nike in the shopping center Belaya Dacha, as well as the company’s stock. A store under the NSP brand has already opened in the shopping center, the amount of the transaction was not disclosed. About purchase RBC said Ilya Komissarov, head of marketing at Lestate.

In July, Lestate agreed to buy part of the stock and the right to lease the Levi Strauss & Co. (Levi’s brand) in the Aviapark shopping center. A store under the JNS brand was opened there. Now Lestate is negotiating with other outlets for Nike venues.

Like many other Western companies, Nike and Levi’s have decided to leave the Russian market. In total, 116 Nike mono-brand stores operated in the country – as of May, left 56, and almost all of them belonged to Inventive Retail Group.
