In Russia, there are no signs of a shortage of painkillers, medicines and equipment for dentistry, Roszdravnadzor said, transmits Interfax.
According to Roszdravnadzor, representative offices of foreign manufacturers of these drugs did not notify about the planned suspension or termination of production or import of their products into the territory of the Russian Federation. At the same time, there is no shortage of Ubistezin in Russia, according to the department. Last year, more than 1.7 million packages with this international generic name entered circulation, which is 13.3% more than in 2021. Since the beginning of this year, another 180,000 packages of this drug have entered circulation.
Market participants noted in a conversation with RBC that in Russia there are enough other domestic and imported analogues of Ubistezin, which are actively used in medicine, market participants emphasized. The American manufacturer of “Ubistezina” 3M announced its withdrawal from the Russian market in March last year.
At the same time, there are no analogues of Vitremer cement in the Russian Federation yet. Dentists also faced a shortage of 3M grinding discs, as well as imported burs and milling cutters, which are still underrepresented on the Russian market.
According to representatives of the clinics, now the supply of all the necessary equipment is coming with long delays, which is why prices have risen sharply. At the same time, many suppliers cannot even predict the exact time when the products will be delivered. According to the publication, some of them began to take an advance payment of 100%.
