Rostelecom has completely switched to the supply of servers from Russian companies and buys them in the thousands. This was announced by the head of the company Mikhail Oseevsky.
“We have excellent Russian manufacturers: Yadro, Aquarius, and we have completely switched to their solutions. We buy them (servers.— “b”) by the thousands,” said Mr. Oseevsky (quote from RIA Novosti).
He noted that the company will have to finish building the software, the “architecture” of these servers. “They are used in our data centers in government information systems, for our private investors, that is, they are highly loaded, productive servers,” said the head of Rostelecom.
According to him, Rostelecom did not buy server capacities from SAP, which left Russia, and does not plan to buy them from other companies that left the Russian Federation.
SAP, like many foreign firms, announced its withdrawal from Russia and the termination of support for local products in April 2022. Among her clients were Sberbank, Gazprom and other companies.
