Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy General Director of Rostec, said that the state corporation will finalize the Su-25 attack aircraft for new defeats based on the experience of a special military operation in Ukraine. We are talking about the latest modification of the Su-25SM3.
As Vladimir Artyakov said TASS, the experience of using the Su-25 proved the effectiveness of attack aircraft. According to him, the effectiveness of the Su-25SM3 “has been increased many times over”, the attack aircraft, in particular, uses high-precision weapons.
Su-25 (known as “Grach”) is a Soviet attack aircraft, which is designed to support ground units and destroy objects with given coordinates in any weather conditions. It is armed with a GSH-30-2 aircraft gun, KAB-500 and KAB-1500 air bombs, air-to-air and air-to-surface guided missiles.
