Ruselectronics holding (part of Rostec) presented a prototype of a motosurf. It is capable of speeds up to 55 km / h, with a full tank of power reserve – 60 minutes. The first market samples should be released in the spring of 2023.
Motosurf is a carbon fiber board with a 100cc internal combustion engine. see. The weight of the board does not exceed 20 kg.
The presentation was held at the international forum “Army-2022”. Motosurf was developed at the Chelyabinsk radio factory Polet (owned by Roselectronics). It uses Russian components and materials, the developer claims.
“The world market for sports motorboards for speed surfing is now in a phase of active growth and is increasing annually by at least 10% … An electric version of a motorized surf is currently being developed,” said Sergey Sakhnenko.
The Army-2022 forum opened today, August 15, and will last until August 21. The event takes place in the Patriot exhibition center near Moscow. It is expected that it will take part President Vladimir Putin.
