Moscow believes that the Armenian veterinary supervision is not able to guarantee the “safety of dairy products for Russian recipients.” Rosselkhoznadzor proposes to switch to a dialogue on resuming supplies after Yerevan carries out work to eliminate violations.
Formerly in Rosselkhoznadzor caught milk processing enterprises of Armenia in that they use raw materials from Iran (with respect to the “milk” from the Islamic Republic in the Russian Federation, restrictive measures are still in force). “In the production process, Armenian producers are allowed to use raw materials from Iranian enterprises that do not have the right to supply to Russia,” representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor pointed out.
The Russian department managed to confirm this information during the inspection, which was organized in connection with the increase in the supply of Armenian “milk” to the Russian market. As a result of those inspections, the Rosselkhoznadzor threatened Yerevan with restrictions.
