Rosoboronexport plans to sign export contracts for $14.5 billion

Rosoboronexport (part of the Rostec State Corporation) concluded several export contracts during the last Army-2022 military-technical forum, and also “created the groundwork” for signing new contracts for a total of $14.5 billion, informs TASS with reference to the general director of Rosoboronexport Alexander Mikheev.
“We held more than 70 negotiations, during which we discussed various issues of military-technical cooperation with representatives of 30 partner countries. We signed several export contracts, and also created a reserve for signing contract documents worth more than $14.5 billion,” Mikheev said.
August 16 Ministry of Defense within the framework of this forum signed 29 government contracts with 26 enterprises worth more than 500 billion rubles. The contracts included the supply of missiles for the Iskander-M complexes, shells for the Smerch multiple launch rocket system, Oniks supersonic anti-ship missiles, Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missiles, and more.
In addition, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, who highly appreciated the level of Russia’s defense capability, having examined the equipment in the Patriot park. In particular, the politician saw combat modules “Boomerang-Petrel”, “Typhoon-U-BM”, “Typhoon-VDV-BM”, as well as remotely controlled combat modules of armored and military vehicles, including “Dagger”, “Epoch “and” Kurganets-BM.
