“The construction of gas pipelines can be 100% provided by domestic production, both in terms of pipe products, and in terms of gas compressor units and less significant elements of the gas pipeline,” the expert explained. Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin declaredthat the results of geological exploration at the project make it possible to plan high levels of oil production with a phased output of up to 115 million tons of oil in 2033. On July 25, the first production well was drilled at the Payakhskoye oil field, which is part of Vostok Oil. It is planned that the first oil will come from the Payakhskoye field in 2024.
