Roskomnadzor turned on 12 foreign hosting providers in the list of companies subject to “landing”. The list included an Amazon subsidiary.

- DigitalOcean, LLC (digitalocean.com).
Amazon Web Services provides cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, companies, and governments.
According to the law adopted on July 1, 2021, foreign Internet companies with a daily audience of more than 500 thousand users must open representative offices in Russia. They are also required to register a personal account on the Roskomnadzor website to interact with the authorities and post a form on their website for feedback from Russian users.
