Roskachestvo estimated the level of confidence of Russians in domestic goods at more than 90%

The level of confidence of Russians in the quality of domestic food products is 91%, the head of Roskachestvo Maxim Protasov said at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
“If we talk about figures that we can definitely rejoice at, 91% is the level of confidence in the quality of food products on the part of our citizens. This is a record figure in recent years, ”said Protasov, his words led cabinet press office.
The head of the department added that during the period of the control and supervisory moratorium, Roskachestvo checked over 10,500 goods in 232 product categories – this is 90% of the basic consumer basket of Russians.
As Protasov noted during the meeting, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the state quality mark was restarted eight years ago – now there are more than 250 such goods in more than 40 regions. In December 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin urged buy locally produced goods.
This spring the government extended a moratorium on scheduled business inspections for eight years. Mishustin specified that the decision is part of the reform of control and supervisory activities and is aimed at further reducing the burden on entrepreneurship.
