Rosbank commented on US sanctions

Announced today, December 15, by Washington sanctions in relation to Rosbank will not have a significant impact on the work of the credit institution. This is stated in the comments of the bank, which is at the disposal of Kommersant.
“The bank continues to work in a standard mode, to carry out all transactions in rubles both remotely and in a wide network of offices. All service conditions and tariffs for products remain the same,” Rosbank says, recalling that it “has been continuously one of the most reliable banks in Russia for many years.”
“We are confident in our ability to provide uninterrupted and high-quality service to our customers,” the bank said.
USA expanded a list of sanctions against Russia, including Rosbank among others. The restrictions also affected businessman Vladimir Potanin and his holding Interros (the latter owns 47.5% of Rosbank, another 45% belongs to Vladimir Potanin’s fund). Rosbank was given time to wind down operations until March 15, 2023.
