Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) extended flight restriction regime at 11 airports in the south and central part of Russia until December 15. Rosaviatsia extends restrictions for the 47th time.
Flights to the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista are temporarily restricted. “Russian airlines are recommended to organize the transportation of passengers on alternative routes using the airports of Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow,” the Federal Air Transport Agency added.
For the first time, the regime of temporary restriction of flights was introduced on February 24, after the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. Last time Rosaviatsiya extended December 1 restrictions.
