Rosaviatsia for the 37th time extended flight restrictions at 11 airports in the south and central part of Russia. The ban will be in effect until September 22. Last time it extended September 26th.

Flights are limited to the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista. All other Russian airports operate normally.

Russian airlines were advised to use alternative routes through the airports of Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow.

After the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the Federal Air Transport Agency extends the flight restriction regime every week. In this regard, the passenger traffic at the airports of Kuban shrunk from January to August by a third.
