In the telegram channel of the Russian military commissar Semyon Pegov appeared video with the soloist of the group “Zveri” Roman Bilyk, who allegedly came to Donbass and performed for the military.
In his post, Pegov writes that Bilyk grew up in Mariupol and that “when the SVO began, he was well aware of what the Nazis were doing in the city.”
“It’s good that he came,” the author added.
The published video shows Bilyk playing the guitar and singing for the military, as well as walking with them through the area: he is helped to fix a helmet on his head and demonstrates artillery shots.
In early June, it became known that the performance of the “Beasts” at SPIEF was cancelled. A few days later, Telegram channels reported that a group of patriotic citizens allegedly wrote a statement to the Prosecutor General’s Office and demanded to check Bilyk “for statements against the SVO and on the subject of financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” The signatories, among other things, argued that the artist refuses to perform in the Crimea and wants to “sit on two chairs, be good for ours and yours.”
