RIA Novosti: Yanukovych’s son transferred business to Russian jurisdiction

The son of the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, Alexander, transferred his company MAKO Holding to Russian jurisdiction, reported “RIA News” with reference to the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. His company is now registered in Donetsk.
The application for entering information into the Russian register of legal entities was submitted on January 17. It was accepted by the Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service No. 1 for the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Previously, MAKO Holding was registered in Kramatorsk, which is under the control of Ukraine. The group of companies has been operating in the country since 2006, trading in coal and industrial equipment, as well as construction and management of office and hotel real estate. The company is under US, EU and Ukrainian sanctions.
